Paul Hott

Paul has been playing music since he started self-teaching from his older sisters piano instruction books. He took instruction in classical piano and later had an opportunity to learn to play drums for high school jazz band. He played drums and keyboard in a few bands in and outside of school. He recorded a solo piano album for his senior project and a Christmas album. Over the last few years Paul has been working on covering songs from a variety of genres, taking lessons from a professional jazz pianist and a vocal instructor. Now Paul plays drums and sings for New Spirit church in Enumclaw, with piano and voice being the primary focus of practice and growth. Paul also plays guitar, and uses his knowledge of different instruments to inform his playstyle. He is passionate about music, and eager for opportunities to share his passion with others.
